Tiffany & Co. has inaugurated its latest exhibition, Tiffany Wonder, in Tokyo. This prestigious event is being hosted at the renowned Tokyo Node contemporary art gallery, situated on the upper levels of the Toranomon Hills Station Tower. Running until June 23, the exhibition commemorates the 187-year heritage of the iconic jeweller.
The exhibition features nearly 300 objects, encompassing both historical pieces and modern creations, that narrate the story of Tiffany & Co. from its inception to the present day. Visitors have the opportunity to traverse through the 10 rooms of Tiffany Wonder, each revealing different aspects of the brand’s illustrious history.
Among the exhibits are never-before-seen items, such as a rare orchid brooch by George Paulding Farnham for Tiffany & Co., adorned with enamel, emeralds, diamonds, and pink sapphires. Another notable piece is the Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. Plumes necklace, embellished with diamonds, rubies, and sapphires. The centrepiece of the exhibition is the 128.54-carat Tiffany Diamond, showcased in a new transformable design inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s iconic Bird on a Rock brooch.
“We are delighted to present Tiffany Wonder in Tokyo, a city that has always held a special place in the heart of Tiffany & Co.,” stated Alexandre Arnault, Executive Vice President of Product, Communications and Industrial, Tiffany & Co. “This exhibition is a celebration of the extraordinary legacy of our House and its unwavering dedication to excellence and innovation.”
