Cavallino Bianco Caorle-Venezia is set to become Italy’s newest five-star luxury resort dedicated entirely to families, with its doors opening in May 2026. Developed by Ralph A. Riffeser, the founder and creative director of the Cavallino Bianco Group, the resort represents the seaside evolution of the group’s multi-award-winning hospitality model.

Originally established in Ortisei, South Tyrol, the group has built a reputation for combining impeccable service, thoughtful design, and family-focused experiences, earning recognition as one of the world’s leading luxury family hospitality brands. With Cavallino Bianco Caorle-Venezia, the group brings this philosophy to the Adriatic coast, offering a refined, immersive destination where families can reconnect, unwind, and create lasting memories in a setting that balances coastal charm with modern luxury.

A Historic Setting Reimagined

The resort is located in the historic area of the former Colonia Pordenone, transformed into a symbol of urban regeneration. Overlooking a stunning Blue Flag beach with uninterrupted Adriatic views, Cavallino Bianco Caorle-Venezia will feature 101 luxury suites ranging from 46 to 118m², designed for modern families seeking comfort, privacy, and granduer.

For years, we have sought a place that truly reflected the founding values of Cavallino Bianco. In Caorle, we discovered authenticity, a harmonious landscape, warm hospitality, and an open community. What we were looking for was not simply a location, but a shared identity

Each suite includes a private terrace with sea views or direct seafront access, dual bathrooms (one child-friendly with baby amenities, including a changing table), fully equipped pantry, separate areas for parents and children, smart facilities, and décor inspired by the surrounding pine forest and coastal scenery. Exclusive services include a covered garage with 170 parking spaces, an on-site boutique, a bike hub, and communal “work-on-holiday” spaces.

The architectural design combines Venetian tradition with contemporary interpretation: harmonious façades, turrets, light volumes, warm tones, and expansive windows invite natural light and sea breezes. Interiors alternate between elegant simplicity and homely warmth, combining natural materials, soft fabrics, and functional layouts. Every detail has been conceived to foster connection—between parents and children, guests and nature, and the resort and its scenic surroundings.

Exclusive access and seamless seaside living

At the heart of the experience lies a five-hectare private beach, a rarity in the Italian market. Lockable cabanas are nestled among soft dunes scented with Mediterranean shrubs. King-sized sunbeds, chairs, tables, mini-fridges, safes, and play areas ensure comfort and entertainment, while direct sea access allows families to move seamlessly between suites and shoreline.

The 4,000m² wellness centre includes heated pools, multiple saunas, a beauty farm, holistic treatments, and an adults-only rooftop spa with an Infinity Sky Pool overlooking the Adriatic. Children and teens enjoy Lino Land, a 750m² indoor-outdoor area offering educational programmes, creative workshops, theatre activities, gym facilities, and colour-coded safety systems—balancing freedom with attentive care.

The resort features three themed restaurants. The Family Restaurant draws inspiration from Venetian squares, with a lively buffet and outdoor terrace. Marco Polo is adults-only, nestled among trees, providing an elegant, tranquil setting for uninterrupted dining. The Children’s Restaurant caters to younger guests, offering a safe, playful environment with menus tailored to their needs. Additional dining areas include outdoor breakfast zones and an indoor lounge bar.

The project will create over 180 permanent positions, operating for at least ten months of the year. Procurement strategies prioritise local businesses, artisans, and suppliers, fostering a virtuous network between tourism, economy, and the community.
