Galaxy Macau has taken delivery of nine bespoke Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner sedans, marking the largest single commission of customised Flying Spurs to date. The handover ceremony formally introduced the fleet that will serve as the property’s primary chauffeur service vehicles.
The commission demonstrates the increasing preference among luxury hospitality operators for bespoke automotive partnerships. Galaxy Macau, which holds the distinction of housing the most Five Star Hotels under one roof according to the Travel Guide, collaborated directly with Mulliner, Bentley’s bespoke division, to develop the customised fleet specifications.
Each sedan incorporates the manufacturer’s Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain as standard equipment. The collaboration between the resort and Bentley’s Crewe-based facility resulted in vehicles that combine performance capabilities with distinctive visual elements specific to the property.
Advanced Powertrain Technology
The Flying Spur Mulliner utilises Bentley’s Ultra Performance Hybrid system, delivering both performance and environmental considerations. The powertrain enables pure electric operation for distances up to 47 miles (76 kilometres), with CO2 emissions reduced by 90 per cent compared to the previous generation Flying Spur Speed.

Electric-only mode functions at speeds reaching 87 mph (140 km/h), with throttle applications up to 75 per cent maintaining silent operation. This capability proves particularly relevant for urban environments and areas with emission restrictions, allowing the vehicles to operate without combustion engine engagement during city transfers.
The hybrid configuration provides the flexibility required for varied journey requirements whilst maintaining the performance characteristics expected from the Flying Spur platform. The system seamlessly transitions between electric and conventional powertrains based on driving conditions and requirements.
Distinctive Visual Elements
The exterior treatment centres on Pale Brodgar Mulliner paintwork, applied across all nine vehicles. Each sedan features the Galaxy Macau signature emblem, hand-painted and stenciled onto both front doors. The application process requires precision craftsmanship to ensure consistency across the fleet whilst maintaining the quality standards associated with Mulliner production.
Custom puddle lamps bearing the property’s branding illuminate the ground as passengers approach the vehicles. These bespoke lighting elements create a branded arrival experience whilst serving the practical function of ground illumination during evening operations.
The visual modifications maintain the Flying Spur’s design integrity whilst incorporating property-specific elements that distinguish the fleet from standard production models. The customisation work demonstrates Mulliner’s capability to integrate client requirements without compromising the vehicle’s aesthetic balance.
Interior Craftsmanship and Comfort Features
All four seating positions incorporate Wellness Seating technology as standard equipment. The system includes Seat Auto Climate functionality and Postural Adjust features, which monitor and maintain optimal body temperature through targeted heating and ventilation zones. The Postural Adjust system applies variable pressure to occupant muscles throughout journeys, designed to reduce fatigue during extended travel periods.
Hand-stitched Galaxy branding appears on seat surfaces, executed by Mulliner’s craftspeople using traditional techniques. Additional embroidered elements feature on rear passenger door panels, positioned to remain visible when doors open whilst tucking discretely when the Soft-Close Door system engages.
The interior modifications required coordination between Mulliner’s design team and the resort’s brand management to ensure appropriate integration of corporate elements. Each vehicle received individual attention during the customisation process, with craftspeople applying hand-stitching and embroidery work specific to the commission requirements.
Strategic Positioning Within Luxury Transport
The commission reflects broader trends within luxury hospitality, where properties increasingly view bespoke automotive partnerships as differentiating factors. The scale of the Galaxy Macau order establishes a precedent for similar collaborations between premium hospitality operators and luxury automotive manufacturers.
The nine-vehicle fleet provides the resort with operational flexibility whilst maintaining consistency in guest experience. The bespoke nature of the commission ensures exclusivity, with no other location possessing identical vehicles. This approach aligns with luxury hospitality principles where unique experiences command premium positioning.
