At Monterey Car Week, Hennessey Special Vehicles unveiled its boldest creation yet: the 1-of-1 Venom F5 LF, the first car to emerge from the brand’s new bespoke division, ‘Maverick.’ Commissioned by American entrepreneur Louis Florey, the LF is a study in personal expression, delivering an analog, driver-focused experience unlike any other Venom F5.

From the Cocoa Brown exposed carbon fibre to the hand-finished six-speed gated manual, every detail reflects a relentless pursuit of craftsmanship. The LF sits on an all-new carbon monocoque, with reengineered pedals, ergonomics, and pedal box geometry designed to enhance driver connection. Horology-inspired switchgear and a reimagined centre console give the cabin an artisanal quality, where tactile engagement and performance converge.
Carbon Fibre and Craftsmanship
On the outside, the LF combines the F5’s signature stealth carbon silhouette with Evolution aero enhancements: a reshaped front splitter, sculpted fender louvres, a taller rear wing, and body-colour tri-stripes that elevate both presence and performance. The exposed carbon fibre, tinted Cocoa Brown, flows from nose to tail, broadening around the cockpit before narrowing beneath the 290 mm rear wing. Paired with River Sand Metallic paint – the colour of fine champagne – the visual effect is both understated and unmistakable. Under the hood, Hennessey’s 6.6-litre twin-turbo V8 Fury engine delivers 2,031 bhp, ensuring high-speed poise whether on track or open road.

Inside the LF, the first thing you notice is the precision of the cockpit. Hennessey’s new XCell_2 carbon monocoque gives the structure a taut, composed feel, while the seating and pedal layout are perfectly considered. Footwells are repositioned for natural engagement, and the aluminum pedals which are laser-etched with Hennessey logos respond with measured weight, creating an immediate connection between driver and machine.

Every control is crafted to feel deliberate. Horology-inspired switches, with luminous inlays, catch ambient light by day and glow softly at night, casting a subtle glow across the interior surfaces. Even the parking brake lever is engineered with a satisfying bolt-action motion. In the LF, every element feels purposeful.

“A common point of celebration for our customers is how the F5 delivers unmatched driving intensity. With the LF, we worked with Louis Florey to explore every mechanical, sensory, and design-led opportunity to deepen the connection between car and driver. This is where engineering meets imagination, and design fuses with passion. It is a celebration of the internal combustion experience at its most raw and personal.” Nathan Malinick, Director of Design, Hennessey Special Vehicles

Hennessey’s Maverick division exists to make cars like this possible. A select group of clients works directly with the engineers and designers to create one-off Venom F5s, each tailored to their preferences. From paint tones to interior finishes, from exposed carbon detailing to mechanical upgrades, the LF is the result of personal vision brought to life through technical expertise.
In the Driver’s Seat
Every detail of the LF is designed to engage the driver. The center console frames the gated shifter alongside side-by-side air vents, with a small key holster tucked neatly beneath. On road or track, the aerodynamic refinements and Evolution package keep the F5 poised at speed, allowing the driver to explore its full performance without compromise.

Monterey also saw the public debut of the Venom F5 Revolution Evolution, the production model featuring Hennessey’s next-generation updates: 2,031 bhp, adaptive suspension, refined aerodynamics, and a redesigned interior.

Owners of existing F5s can bring their cars up to Evolution specification, ensuring that the very best of Hennessey’s engineering can be enjoyed by anyone lucky enough to own one.
Crafting the One-of-One
The LF may be a singular car, but it sets the tone for what the Maverick division can do. Hennessey has long been known for extreme performance and engineering audacity, but now it’s also giving clients the chance to create something that is unmistakably theirs. Every shift, every flick of a toggle, every push of the pedal is satisfying in a way that only a truly bespoke, analog hypercar can offer.
