Some victories deserve more than just a trophy in a cabinet. McLaren’s remarkable journey to their first Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship since 1998 merits something far more substantial – something with wheels, preferably very fast ones. Answering that call, McLaren Automotive has unveiled what might be the most exclusive celebration of motorsport excellence: eighteen bespoke supercars that blur the line between road-going machines and their racing siblings.
Racing success courses through McLaren’s veins, and after Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri’s commanding performance in the 2024 season – securing eight pole positions and six Grand Prix victories – the company has found a rather spectacular way to commemorate their achievement.
A tale of two champions
McLaren’s decision to split their celebration between the hybrid Artura and the twin-turbocharged 750S speaks volumes about the company’s forward-thinking approach. Each model brings its own flavour of performance to the table – the Artura with its sophisticated 3-litre V6 hybrid powertrain, and the 750S with its thunderous 4-litre twin-turbocharged V8. Both share McLaren’s signature carbon fibre monocoque chassis, ensuring they’re as rigid as they are light.

Heritage meets horsepower
These aren’t simply paint-and-badge special editions. Each car carries a genuine piece of Formula 1 history – a section of carbon fibre bodywork from the championship-winning MCL38 F1 car, presented on a dedication plaque. The Visual Carbon Fibre Extended Sill Cover bears the signatures of both Norris and Piastri, while a bespoke track record plaque in the bonnet storage area catalogues every pole position, race win, and fastest lap from their victorious season.
Distinctive design DNA
Drawing from McLaren’s racing heritage, both models sport a carefully curated livery that combines the iconic Papaya Orange with Anthracite colourways. The distinctive chevron colour transition, now synonymous with McLaren’s racing presence, adorns each vehicle. A Champions’ Laurel and ‘Nine-Star’ logo proudly announce the car’s significance, while orange accents, including a bonnet stripe and brake calipers, complete the racing-inspired aesthetic.
750S: The flagship’s new colours
The 750S variant receives additional special treatment, featuring a visual carbon fibre steering wheel with a papaya 12 o’clock marker and matching clasp accent. Mirror stripes and a papaya-highlighted front splitter leading edge further distinguish this ultimate expression of McLaren’s supercar expertise. The active rear wing and Proactive Chassis Control III suspension system ensure it’s as capable on the track as it is striking in appearance.
Artura: Hybrid performance meets heritage
The Artura’s celebration specification proves that hybrid technology and motorsport heritage can coexist beautifully. While sharing many design elements with its 750S sibling, the Artura adds its own chapter to McLaren’s story, combining future-focused hybrid technology with the same racing DNA that secured their latest championship victory.
