Meet The Women Who Drive Lamborghini’s

Since 2023, Automobili Lamborghini’s SHEdrives a Lambo has connected female owners across the U.S. and Europe, with events in Connecticut, Arizona, Palm Springs, and Les Trois Vallées. Participants explored canyon roads, tracks, and alpine passes in the Revuelto, Urus SE, Huracán Sterrato, Huracán Tecnica, Huracán STO, and Temerario. Led by Andrea Baldi, CEO of Lamborghini Americas, and Daniela De Vivo, project leader, the programme celebrates women driving the brand and builds a passionate global community

Since its launch in 2023, Lamborghini’s dedicated programme for female owners has developed into something with real substance. SHEdrives a Lambo is a gathering that brings together a community of women who share a genuine passion for the brand, and gives that passion somewhere to go. What started as a single event in Connecticut has since visited Arizona, California, and the French Alps, each edition building on the last, each one a little bigger and a little more ambitious than the one before.

“SHEdrives a Lambo is our way of celebrating the fearless and passionate women who drive Lamborghini. They are a powerful reminder that Lamborghini is for those who dare to express their individuality beyond stereotypes. These women embrace the brand’s heritage while appreciating our vision for the future, and experiences like this allow us to inspire, connect, and grow our female communities around the world.”

The third American edition took place in Palm Springs, California, last October, welcoming over 30 female owners from across the United States. The setting was stunning, the sun-soaked Coachella Valley, framed by the San Jacinto Mountains, with the iconic Parker Palm Springs serving as home base for the weekend. Shortly after, the programme crossed the Atlantic for its third European edition, returning to Les Trois Vallées in the French Alps for two days centred on the brand’s newest high-performance hybrid, the Temerario. Between them, the two events painted a vivid picture of everything SHEdrives a Lambo has become.

Palm Springs in Full Throttle

The Palm Springs programme was built around proper driving, not a gentle cruise through the desert, but real time on real roads. Participants explored the winding canyon routes through the San Jacinto Mountains and the open stretches of the Coachella Valley, before heading to The Thermal Club for a track session that gave everyone the chance to discover exactly what their cars can do when the road runs out.

Evenings were spent dining under the desert stars, which provided a natural and relaxed setting for the kind of conversations that tend to happen when like-minded people are given the time and space to actually talk. There were no structured networking sessions or name badge formalities, just people who love the same brand, sharing the same experience, getting to know one another properly.

The California Lineup

Lamborghini brought a strong and varied fleet to California, covering pretty much every corner of what the brand currently offers. Leading the way was the Revuelto, the company’s flagship High-Performance Electrified Vehicle, combining a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 with three electric motors and a top speed exceeding 350 km/h. It is the most technically advanced road car the company has ever produced, and on the mountain roads above Palm Springs, it was absolutely at home.

Alongside it sat the Urus SE, the Super SUV that has become one of the brand’s most popular models. Powered by a 4.0-litre biturbo V8 paired with an electric drivetrain, it produces 789 horsepower and reaches a rather impressive top speed of 312 km/h. The Urus SE has played a significant role in widening the Lamborghini ownership community, and its presence at an event like this felt entirely fitting.

Rounding out the fleet were three members of the Huracán family: the Sterrato, the Tecnica, and the STO. Each takes the same platform in a different direction, the Sterrato is built for adventure on and off tarmac, the Tecnica is the everyday driver’s choice, and the STO leans firmly towards the track. Together, the five cars gave participants a thorough and exciting tour of the current Lamborghini lineup.

From the Desert to the Alps

If Palm Springs was about warmth, space, and open roads, Courchevel offered something altogether different. Lamborghini returned to Les Trois Vallées in the French Alps for the third European edition of SHEdrives a Lambo, one of the world’s largest linked ski areas, with the Temerario as the car of the moment and Le K2 Palace as the setting. Snow-covered mountain passes, technical switchbacks, and high-altitude straights replaced the desert canyons of California, and the result was an experience that felt completely distinct while remaining recognisably the same programme.

Le K2 Palace set the tone from the moment guests arrived. Himalayan-inspired interiors, panoramic mountain views, and the kind of hospitality that takes nothing for granted made it a fitting base for a weekend that paid close attention to every detail. This edition was built around a theme, Horizon, chosen to reflect the idea of clarity, elevation, and the instinct to push past the expected. The vast, open alpine landscape of Courchevel gave that theme a convincing physical backdrop, and it shaped the character of the weekend in a way that felt natural rather than forced.

Power at Altitude

The Lamborghini Temerario was the star of the European driving programme, and it arrived with considerable credentials. Powered by an all-new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 paired with three electric motors, the car produces over 920CV. Combined energy consumption is rated at 4.3 kWh/100km plus 11.2 litres per 100km, with combined CO2 emissions of 272g/km.

The route through Les Trois Vallées was designed to show the car across a range of conditions, flowing mountain passes, technical switchbacks, and high-altitude straights that gave a clear sense of its composure and precision. A panoramic viewpoint mid-route offered a moment to take stock of both the landscape and the car that had just navigated it. The drive then moved to a dedicated ice track, where participants took part in drifting sessions led by Lamborghini’s professional drivers.

“As a woman representing a small field in the automotive sector, doing my dream job every day, I couldn’t be happier to share my experiences and receive valuable feedback from empowered and courageous women. It’s inspiring to see women with different backgrounds — from automotive to architecture, to fashion and the media industry — challenging the status quo and shaping the future each in their unique way. I am proud to be part of this journey, and I hope to see even more women in engineering, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.”

A Community in Motion

What Lamborghini has built with SHEdrives a Lambo is a programme with genuine momentum behind it. Female ownership within the brand has grown considerably in recent years, and each edition has brought more participants, more locations, and a broader sense of what the community can be. From a debut in Connecticut to canyon roads in California to alpine passes in the French Alps, the journey so far has covered an impressive amount of ground.

“Lamborghini is a brand that stands for pushing boundaries and redefining expectations. With SHEdrives a Lambo, we demonstrate our commitment to diversity and inclusivity and showcase how our brand resonates with women who are as bold and uncompromising as our cars.”

Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO, Automobili Lamborghini

The expansion into Europe was a significant step. Taking SHEdrives beyond North America means building on a community that has already proven itself across multiple successful events and introducing that energy to a new audience. That kind of growth only works when the foundation is solid, and from everything both Palm Springs and Courchevel demonstrated, the foundation here is very solid indeed.

SHEdrives a Lambo has a clear sense of purpose, a growing community behind it, and two of the world’s most spectacular driving destinations already on its résumé. Whatever comes next, it has earned the right to be taken seriously.
