Tiffany & Co. announces the opening of “Culture of Creativity,” a groundbreaking exhibition at The Landmark, its storied Fifth Avenue boutique in the heart of New York City. Esteemed architect Peter Marino, celebrated for his dynamic engagement with the art world, has lent pieces from his private collection through the Peter Marino Art Foundation, enriching Tiffany’s exhibition space within its 10-story flagship store.
“Culture of Creativity goes beyond a simple exhibition. It’s a celebration of creativity in all its forms, an exploration of the inspiration and artistic expression that have shaped Tiffany & Co.’s identity since its founding in 1837.”
Anthony Ledru – CEO, Tiffany & Co.
This exhibition is designed to offer attendees an enveloping journey through the realm of contemporary art, showcasing a collection of nearly 70 carefully selected artworks. It also features a selection of Tiffany & Co.’s sterling silver masterpieces dating back to the 1880s from Marino’s collection. Highlighting works by luminaries such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Damien Hirst, and Louis Comfort Tiffany, the exhibition is more than a mere display; it is a testament to the enduring elegance, a narrative of Peter Marino’s deep-rooted connection with art. The Landmark’s walls narrate a compelling tale of passion, exquisite taste, and profound understanding of the art sphere. Marino’s selection is a celebration of audacity, vibrant hues, and complex storytelling that engages and enchants its audience.
“Culture of Creativity” also illuminates the artistic lineage of Tiffany & Co., which has ardently supported the visual arts for more than a century, fostering collaborations with visionaries such as Jean Schlumberger, Paloma Picasso, and Andy Warhol.
This exhibition underscores Tiffany & Co.’s commitment to nurturing artistic innovation, solidifying The Landmark’s position as a beacon of cultural significance in New York.
