Auberge Collection has opened reservations for The Knox, its first Dallas hotel, ahead of a debut set for 29 January 2027. The 140-room property will stand at the heart of the Knox Street district, a neighbourhood emerging as the city’s new cultural and lifestyle core, with rates from £746, around £754, per night.
The hotel is the first full expression of designer Martin Brudnizki’s vision in Dallas and his only standalone hotel project in the United States. It arrives through a longstanding partnership with BDT & MSD Partners and its partners Trammell Crow Company, the owners of Highland Park Village and The Retail Connection, who are reimagining Knox Street as a vibrant mixed-use destination with the hotel as its hospitality centrepiece.
A design landmark for Knox Street
The Knox Street district sits between Highland Park Village, Southern Methodist University and the Katy Trail, a 3.5-mile green corridor popular for walking, running and cycling. It is where Dallas’s luxury retail, dining and residential energy is shifting, a walkable, design-led quarter framed by tree-lined streets and designer boutiques.
Interiors by the internationally acclaimed Martin Brudnizki Design Studio bring what the brand calls the intimate, residential feel of a grand estate, while private Auberge residences by Chad Dorsey Design add a domestic counterpoint. The intention is a property that feels both cosmopolitan and deeply connected to its surroundings.
“The Knox marks an exciting new chapter in Auberge Collection’s growth as we bring our distinctive approach to hospitality to the world’s most dynamic cities,” said Christian Clerc, President and CEO of Auberge Collection. “We are proud to welcome The Knox to our portfolio and introduce a vibrant destination that celebrates Dallas’s distinctive character while offering a deeply personal experience that is uniquely Auberge.”
The great room sets the tone for the floors above, where guest rooms and suites continue the collected, character-rich approach.
Suites, rooms and residences
The 140 rooms and suites pair curated art and custom-made furnishings with generous layouts and marble bathrooms, designed as comfortable places to linger rather than simply sleep. At the top of the accommodation ladder sit two signature suites: The Manse, with its private fitness space, wellness room, bar and media room, and the Promenade Suite, whose 2,100 sq ft terrace carries multiple dining and lounge areas built for private celebrations and executive gatherings.
A collection of 48 premier private residences extends the offer, including two- and three-bedroom apartments designed for longer stays with expansive indoor-outdoor living. The sales campaign has already produced a penthouse sale that set a record for Texas.
Abbott House, Hester House and the three-bedroom Hyland House combine the comfort and privacy of a private home with the personalised, high-touch service of the brand.
Dining, wellbeing and the rooftop pool
Four dining and drinking venues set the tone from breakfast to last call. A signature restaurant will serve Americana classics in a vibrant, moody setting, while a buzzing indoor-outdoor salon takes a contemporary approach to European-style dining. An evening lounge promises a serious cocktail programme with the allure of a speakeasy, and poolside dining opens onto a verdant oasis beside a ninth-floor rooftop pool with views over downtown.
A signature Wellbeing by Auberge concept anchors the health offer, guided by a philosophy that joins science, beauty and connection. Guests can expect advanced skin therapies, thermal rituals and a multi-sensory journey through sculptural bathing environments designed for deep restoration.
Together the lineup positions The Knox as an epicurean destination in its own right, serving a little spectacle with a lot of spirit from morning until late evening.
Weddings, meetings and social occasions
The hotel will also become one of the country’s most remarkable settings for weddings and social gatherings, reached through a dedicated private entrance that ascends to second-floor venues. The Colonnade Room, a grand ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows and a wrap-around terrace, sits at the heart of the entertaining offer, with The Gallery, an art-lined pre-function space, made for receptions and arrivals.
Four interconnecting Knox Parlour Rooms, among them the intimate Waldon Room, the light-filled Margay and Barlow meeting rooms and the tented Kestrel Room, cover occasions from discreet board meetings to grand celebrations, while the Trophy Room offers immersive private dining within the signature restaurant.
“Inspired by the energy, character, and culture of the city, The Knox was designed to be more than a hotel,” said Rick Fidel, Regional Vice President and General Manager of The Knox. “It will be a gathering place where exceptional dining, thoughtful wellbeing, inspired design, and extraordinary hospitality come together.”
An ambitious period of expansion
The Dallas debut comes as the brand widens its reach. Cambridge House, Auberge Collection arrives in London’s storied Mayfair next year with refined service, considered dining and a dedicated wellbeing destination, while the Auberge Safari collection spans nine properties across Tanzania’s most celebrated wildlife areas. Recent openings include Collegio alla Querce in Florence and The Woodward in Geneva.
With reservations already open for stays from 29 January 2027, Dallas has a new address on the map, and Knox Street has its social anchor.
