Revered luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin has revealed plans to build a luxurious residential skyscraper on the Miami coast.

The brand synonymous with James Bond and all things prestige has released the designs for Aston Martin Residences, a 66-storey waterfront apartment block overlooking Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, with access to the marina via it’s very own private yacht club.

Partnered with local firm G&G Business Developments, the tower will comprise of 391 luxury condominiums, ranging from 1 to 5 bedroom apartments, 7 penthouses and 1 triplex rooftop penthouse, the Residency is the British carmaker’s first property venture.

Aston Martin’s design team, which is led by executive vice-president and chief creative officer Marek Reichman, have been tasked with creating the interiors and facilities throughout the development. Features like the carbon-fibre reception desks, door tabs made from soft tan leather and custom-made artisan Aston Martin door handles, are all reminiscent of the super cars we all know and love.

Due for completion in 2021, the sail-shaped curvilinear tower will sit on the last remaining plot on Biscayne Boulevard Way in downtown Miami. Constructed with glass and steel, the building has been designed by Revuelta Architecture and Bodas Miani Anger, both firms that are renowned for creating visually impressive and well engineered landmark properties. General contractor Coastal Construction Group are set to begin work on the tower imminently.

Ideally placed in the marina setting Aston Martin Residences will be a striking feature on the coastline, and as expected the premium space is reflected in the price – ranging from US$600,000 to over US$50 million for the top level, three floor penthouse.

The tower features a 4 level communal amenity space, which includes a fitness centre, spa facilities and expansive outdoor pool. There’s even two cinemas, a virtual golf room and an art gallery for residents to enjoy.
