iProspect has announced significant leadership changes with the appointment of Cécile Berger as Global Client President and Amy Watt as Global Managing Director. These strategic appointments are set to enhance the agency’s integrated strategic services and global consistency.
Amy Watt, previously iProspect’s Chief Strategy Officer for 18 months, succeeds Shenda Loughnane, who transitioned to the role of Global Client and Brand President at Dentsu X in January. Concurrently, Watt’s promotion aligns with the recent hiring of Chris Worsley as Group Managing Director, following his tenure as Global Performance Lead at Wavemaker. In the interim, Grace Letley and Libby Darley from Dentsu will oversee Watt’s former responsibilities in strategy and planning, respectively.
Under the guidance of Amanda Morrissey, Global Client and Brand President and Chief Growth Officer, Media iProspect, Watt will spearhead the development of iProspect’s integrated strategic services. Her role encompasses managing senior client relationships, driving growth, and leading the agency’s global network to deliver excellence. With eighteen years of media experience across local, regional, and international roles, Watt’s expertise is expected to significantly bolster iProspect’s global operations.
Cécile Berger, joining from WPP’s Paris office where she led global client initiatives for Coca-Cola Company’s Nutrition brands, brings extensive experience in branding, media, CRM, and data. In her new role, Berger will oversee the Dentsu team in France and work closely with Pierre Calmard, President and CEO of Dentsu France, to expand iProspect’s international clientele. She will also manage iProspect’s account for Kering, the luxury conglomerate owning brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci, and Balenciaga. Berger’s previous roles at WPP included Global Client Lead for Chanel and Deputy Managing Director at Mindshare France.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Watt stated, “I am beyond thrilled to be joining the iProspect global team and working with our exceptional people around the world, who are operating at the leading edge of media to build brands that shape the future.”
Berger added, “I am delighted to join Dentsu and work with Kering and their wonderful Maisons, to help increase their desirability and saliency through innovative and exclusive media strategies. Moreover, I am proud to work with Kering, a leading global champion for sustainability, and will make sure that media is at the core of its sustainability agenda.”
Amanda Morrissey highlighted the strategic timing of these appointments, stating, “With a new business proposition and narrative, Amy and Cécile join iProspect’s global leadership team at a pivotal moment in our journey as we accelerate brands through our performance mindset. We are obsessed with making brands famous, but we do it differently. We build iconic brands through signals and data, by fusing brand and performance with identity-first decision making. I am energised by the new opportunities our next generation of leaders will create as we work together to accelerate iProspect’s new path to growth.”
These leadership changes signify a transformative phase for iProspect, as the agency continues to innovate and lead in the media industry.
