A collection of private Alpine chalets is launching a new programme of outdoor experiences built around comfort, freedom and personalised adventure. From February 2026, guests can stay in fully private residences and add guided wellness, family and high-mountain itineraries across Switzerland and France. Backed by decades of experience in safety and planning, the collection makes it easy to enjoy the Alps while keeping the comfort and privacy of a home base.
The European Alps have always drawn travellers looking for fresh air, open space and a chance to reset. MBM Chalets offers a portfolio of standalone residences where guests have entire properties to themselves, with discreet concierge teams taking care of every detail behind the scenes.

From 1 February 2026, the company introduces the MBM Experiences Collection, a range of programmes spanning wellness retreats, family ski journeys and high-altitude adventure. Each experience centres around the chalet, so days start and end in a private home, with guides and instructors seamlessly folded into the stay.
Co-founder Matthew Burnford brings three decades of international security and crisis-response experience to the company. His background underpins the careful planning behind each trip, giving guests the freedom to relax and explore while everything runs smoothly in the background.
A Private Base
Burnford’s experience shapes how MBM runs day to day, with an emphasis on ease, calm and discretion. Each chalet operates as a fully self-contained home, with no shared corridors or public spaces. Concierge teams are trained to support guests quietly and efficiently, stepping in when needed and fading into the background when not.

For travellers who value quiet surroundings or carefully managed travel, the chalets offer a reassuring sense of space and control. Activities begin and end at the property, so moving between relaxation and adventure feels natural and effortless.
Mountain Wellness
The Longevity in the Mountains programme centres on gentle mountain days, mobility sessions and nutrition-focused dining. Guided activities prioritise restoration over intensity, creating a rhythm that feels like a reset.

The Women’s Return-to-Ski Programme offers a welcoming five-day path back onto the slopes through women-only instruction. Sessions adjust to confidence and pace, supported by movement and mindset coaching along the way. Both programmes stay rooted in the chalet, avoiding the crowds and time pressures.
Time Together
First Turns to Family Runs is designed for families learning side by side. Private instructors work exclusively with the group over five days, letting everyone progress comfortably. Off-slope activities keep younger guests engaged and happy long after skiing ends.

For working groups, Boardroom Mornings, Powder Afternoons combines a proper workspace with guided afternoon skiing. Teams can stay connected while still making the most of mountain time, moving easily between focus and fresh air. Privacy and comfort are built into the experience.
For Bigger Adventures
The Above the Pistes heli-ski programme opens access to remote terrain by private helicopter. Routes are chosen around conditions and ability, with preparations handled comfortably inside the chalet before departure. The property stays a calm base from start to finish.

Earn Your Turns suits experienced skiers looking for rewarding off-piste touring. Daily plans adapt to weather and snow, while evenings centre on recovery, good food and preparation for the next climb. The Alpine Challenge brings guided men’s ski weeks built around some friendly competition and shared evenings. Routes vary by ability, and light scoring adds energy without taking away from the fun. Nights return to the chalet for relaxed dinners and conversation.
Booking and Availability
The MBM Experiences Collection launches on 1 February 2026 across the company’s Swiss and French chalets. Programmes slot easily into existing bookings as curated additions rather than separate packages. Small group sizes and advance planning ensure every stay feels tailored.
Throughout each visit, the focus remains the same: total privacy, attentive support and the freedom to enjoy the mountains in your own way.
