Sodexo has announced the appointment of Molly Matthews as the Chief Executive Officer for its U.S. Healthcare and Seniors divisions, effective immediately. Matthews assumes the role from Stuart Winters, who will be returning to Australia.

Sarosh Mistry, CEO of Sodexo North America, commented on the appointment, stating, “Ms. Matthews brings a wealth of experience from the U.S. healthcare sector to her new role. Over the past 25 years, she has spearheaded strategic initiatives with major U.S. healthcare systems and has a proven track record in managing labor costs, optimising supply chain operations, and enhancing operational efficiencies. As COO of our U.S. Healthcare segment, her leadership was pivotal in achieving record growth and profitability while also enhancing employee retention.”

Matthews joined Sodexo in April 2022 as Chief Operating Officer for the healthcare division. Prior to this, she held a significant leadership role at Vizient as Senior Vice President and General Manager, where she managed sales and was responsible for $23 billion in GPO supply chain purchases and the delivery of programs and services for strategic accounts.

She holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Auburn University and an MBA from Wake Forest University. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Matthews is an active member of the Auburn University College of Industrial and Systems Engineering alumni advisory board and has previously served as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, where she was a member for over a decade.
