Mallorca is known for its stunning beaches and buzzing nightlife, but few know the island’s mouth watering Mediterranean cuisine as well as Zafiro Palace Andratx, who craft stunning plates from local ingredients. Zafiro Palace Andratx has recently launched a new All-Inclusive Redefined ® concept, meaning guests can sample a range of a la carte dishes, getting a real taste of the greatness of Spanish food.
With a particular focus on Mediterranean flavours, Zafiro Palace Andratx takes Mallorcan cooking to the next level. Local elements flow seamlessly through the menus of The Market with dishes such as crispy croquettes stuffed with Mallorcan cheese and sobrasada, galician-style octopus or a range of “montaditos”, bite sized bread rolls filled with classic tortilla de patatas or iberian ham. Or guests can try El Olivo restaurant to sample molecular gastronomic delights such as red tuna with feta ice cream, or oxtail bon bons.
Other dining options include the Caliu Steakhouse, an ode to Spain’s love of all things carnivore, featuring comfort eats such as oxtail croquettes alongside American Tomahawk Steak.
A journey for the senses
For something that transports guests further afield, the Tastes and Sushi restaurants bring a culinary journey from Asia to Mallorca. Offering Indian, Japanese, Chinese and Thai cuisine, such as stunning sushi platters and a pudding of yuzu ice cream topped with sesame powder and lychee bonbons, your senses will be in for a treat!
By the pool, the new Fresh and Healthy Truck offers the ideal menu for relaxing under the Balearic sun, with crepes, yoghurts and freshly made juices and smoothies. The Sylvan Truck offers a light, savoury menu featuring watermelon salad and crispy lentil nachos dipped in hummus, as well as all your favourite tipples.
In true Mediterranean fashion, Zafiro believes that it is never too early for an aperitif, so the hotel ensures that the All Inclusive offering extends to all bars around the hotel, with the Spanish touch featuring throughout the cocktail menu designed by Mallorca master mixologist Rafa Martín.
