This year’s event will witness enhanced offerings both at the Salon and In The City, meticulously curated for the discerning general public. The spotlight is on enriching the visitor experience through meaningful engagements with the exhibiting Maisons.
The organisers have meticulously planned to elevate the experience at Watches and Wonders Geneva, aiming to craft a distinct week for the global fine watchmaking community. A record number of 55 watch brands have confirmed their participation in the 2024 event, providing a platform for industry professionals, aficionados, and enthusiasts to congregate, interact, and forge meaningful connections. The newly structured 7-day program extends an invitation to the public from Saturday to Monday, with tickets available for online purchase from early February 2024. Special pricing for students and weekend tickets have been provisioned.
Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024 has re-envisioned its layout, now spanning two floors with newly incorporated spaces for attendees to traverse. Enhanced venues for deliberation and discussion are part of this year’s novel offerings.
The 2024 iteration will host revered names in the industry such as Rolex, Cartier, Patek Philippe, IWC Schaffhausen, and TAG Heuer. Additionally, six fresh faces including Bremont, Eberhard & Co, Gerald Charles, Nomos Glashütte, Norqain, and Raymond Weil will be making their debut, while H. Moser & Cie. rejoins the Carré des Horlogers.
Central to the Salon will be The LAB, envisioned as a portal into the future of horology. This section underscores the paramountcy of technological innovation within the manufactures. It’s here that startups, academic institutions, and engineers will unveil the enigmatic realms of future watchmaking. The LAB aims to offer an immersive, tactile, and sensory journey, particularly resonating with younger enthusiasts harboring career ambitions in the field.
In synergy with the Salon, the heartbeat of the City will resonate with the cadence of horological movements through a dynamic In The City program. A newly conceived Village Horloger will unfold the magic of fine watchmaking, showcasing its crafts, savoir-faire, and gifted artisans. Major brands are slated to partake in the festivity with in-store activities, presenting and exhibiting their finest works. The grand evening celebration, featuring a complimentary concert, is scheduled for April 11 on the Quai Général- Guisan.
