The Emory, London’s premier all-suite hotel, and private aviation leader Flexjet have announced an exclusive collaboration to provide guests with a complimentary helicopter transfer, redefining luxury travel in the heart of the city.
The Emory, part of the esteemed Maybourne Hotel Collection, which includes iconic properties like Claridge’s, The Connaught, and The Berkeley, has set a new benchmark for elegance and discreet service with its recent opening in May. Boasting 61 opulent suites spread over nine floors, the hotel features a remarkable 300 sqm wraparound glass penthouse and offers a range of exclusive amenities. Guests benefit from access to Bar 33 and The Emory Cigar Merchants, membership to the Surrenne wellbeing and longevity Club, personalised services from an Emory Assistant, use of the house car, and now, a seamless helicopter transfer service courtesy of Flexjet.
This pioneering partnership marks the first time a London hotel has integrated complimentary helicopter transfers from private jet terminals directly into the guest experience. Guests arriving via private jet at Farnborough, Biggin Hill, Luton, or Stansted airports will be transported by Flexjet helicopter to The London Heliport in Battersea. From there, they will be escorted by The Emory’s house car to the hotel, ensuring a smooth and luxurious journey.
Flexjet’s UK helicopter fleet is a vital component of its extensive global private aviation operations, which includes 300 prestigious jets and helicopters. Renowned for its world-class aircraft and bespoke LXi Cabin Collection interiors, Flexjet is synonymous with personalised service and unparalleled luxury hospitality. The collaboration with The Emory enhances an existing five-year partnership with The Maybourne Group, providing exclusive benefits to Flexjet clients across the portfolio.
The Sikorsky S-76, a cornerstone of Flexjet’s helicopter fleet, is celebrated for its safety record and enduring reputation, boasting over 40 years of operational history and 7.5 million hours of flight time. These helicopters accommodate up to eight passengers and two pilots, flying at speeds of 155 knots per hour with a range of 300 nautical miles, epitomising comfort and efficiency.
Roland Fasel, Group Chief Operating Officer at Maybourne, remarked on the collaboration: “At The Emory, we continually strive to set new standards in service style, and this collaboration with Flexjet offers our guests the ultimate transfer experience in the capital.”
Mike Silvestro, co-CEO of Flexjet, added: “We are delighted to partner with The Emory to enhance what is already one of London’s most exceptional hotel experiences. Our collaboration not only provides seamless, door-to-door transport for private travellers staying at The Emory – saving over an hour of driving time – but also offers a memorable arrival over the London skyline.”
This innovative initiative by The Emory and Flexjet redefines luxury and convenience in London’s hospitality sector, setting a new standard for high-end travel experiences.
