Bookings have opened on the Winter 2027 to 2028 season from The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, covering more than 60 voyages aboard Evrima, Ilma and Luminara between October 2027 and May 2028. The programme adds 14 ports the fleet has never called at before, pairing familiar names with smaller harbours that larger ships cannot reach.

Each yacht takes a region and stays with it, allowing longer stretches at anchor and shore time that shapes the voyage rather than interrupting it. Sea days are spaced between calls at a pace that leaves room to do very little, which remains one of the quieter pleasures of yachting at this scale.

Luminara anchored in port in Alaska.

“Our Winter 2027–2028 season reflects our continued focus on creating journeys that feel both expansive and personal. By introducing new destinations across Asia-Pacific, the Caribbean, and the South Pacific, we’re offering guests more ways to explore at their own pace while enjoying the care and connection that define our experience.”

Evrima, South Pacific and Panama

Evrima spends an extended season in the South Pacific before working north to Hawaii and eventually back to the Caribbean. Inaugural calls take in the coral atolls and lagoons of Rangiroa and Fakarava in French Polynesia, along with the mountains and scattered islets of Rarotonga and Aitutaki in the Cook Islands. Huahine suits the yacht’s Marina Beach particularly well, with swimming and water sports run straight off the platform.

A 13-night sailing from Los Angeles to Panama City brings first-time calls at Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán, Zihuatanejo and Puerto Chiapas. Two seven-night runs from San Juan to Panama City deliver the Panama Canal transit, watched from the private terraces of the yacht’s all-suite accommodation.

Ilma, Caribbean

Ilma covers 27 Caribbean ports over the winter, using Miami, San Juan and Oranjestad as turnaround points. St Barths features frequently, while an expanded set of three and four-night round trips from Miami and San Juan opens up short escapes to Great Exuma and Key West. Sailings of five to seven nights sit between the busier tropical islands and the quieter coves.

Culebra, Puerto Rico joins the schedule as a new call, reachable only by smaller ships and known for protected turquoise water and undeveloped beaches. Norman Island, at the southern tip of the British Virgin Islands, also debuts, joining Canouan as a setting for beach gatherings by the sea.

Luminara, Asia-Pacific

Luminara returns to Asia-Pacific with itineraries that put major cities alongside coastal towns further off the usual route. An 11-night voyage from Hong Kong to Tokyo introduces a first call at Kaohsiung, where waterfront promenades and night markets carry southern Taiwan’s character, followed by Ishigaki and its luminous blue water. A new seven-night sailing from Bangkok to Singapore debuts Bintan, a secluded Indonesian archipelago of white sand and clear shallows.

Longer itineraries of up to 14 nights give the region more room. A Hong Kong to Singapore run combines overnight stays in Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City with Marina days at Koh Kood and Koh Samui. Tokyo round trips look past the obvious, calling at Hakodate for seafood, Otaru for its canal and glass ateliers, and Aomori for contemporary art and the apple harvest.

Season highlights

A three-night San Juan round trip aboard Ilma departs in January 2028, calling at Gustavia in St Barths, where a two-ship policy keeps the waterfront calm, and Jost Van Dyke, smallest of the four main British Virgin Islands.

Evrima follows with a nine-night Papeete round trip in January 2028, reaching Rangiroa, Fakarava, Rarotonga and Aitutaki, with beach time on Taha’a and Marina days at Huahine. Luminara’s 11-night Hong Kong to Tokyo voyage sails in March 2028, running through Kaohsiung and Taipei before Ishigaki and Naha.

Aboard the fleet

All three yachts carry some of the highest employee-to-guest and space-to-guest ratios at sea, with chef-led dining, The Ritz-Carlton Spa and a marina that drops guests straight into the water. Ilma took an industry-first five-star rating at the 2026 Star Awards.

Evrima launched in October 2022 at 624 feet, with 149 suites and private oceanview terraces for up to 298 guests. Ilma followed in September 2024 at 790 feet, with 224 accommodations for up to 448 guests, and Luminara joined the fleet in July 2025.
