Hilton has expanded its presence in Makkah with the opening of two new properties, bringing 1,767 additional rooms to the Holy City and offering more choice and comfort for the millions of visitors who arrive each year. Together, the openings mark an important step for the group, led by what is now the world’s largest hotel under the Tapestry Collection by Hilton brand.

The additions include DoubleTree by Hilton Makkah Aziziyah in the Al Aziziyah district and Wirgan Al Noor, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, located near the historic Hira Cave. Both hotels are owned by Wirgan Hospitality and operated under Hilton’s global standards, supporting Saudi Arabia’s continued efforts to welcome growing visitor numbers while maintaining high levels of service and hospitality.
Operations across both properties are overseen by cluster general manager Mohamed Lotfy, whose team works to ensure guests enjoy a seamless and welcoming experience, while allowing each hotel to offer something slightly different depending on where visitors choose to stay.
