Delivered recently to Sardinian waters, Ocean Angel represents the Italian shipyard’s second entry in the DOGE 400 series. The collaboration between Design aLOT, who penned the yacht’s exterior lines, and BURDISSOCAPPONI Yachts & Design, responsible for her interiors, has yielded a vessel that is simultaneously grand and elegant.

Built to commercial standards, she promises endurance and reliability on the high seas, while her clean, contemporary aesthetic signals unmistakable luxury.

Engineering Prowess

Beneath her sculpted hull, twin Caterpillar engines hum with quiet authority, granting a range that stretches beyond 4,000 nautical miles, with a top speed surpassing 15 knots. The engineering is as meticulous as the finishes of every system and layout are designed to ensure operational independence over long passages.

Generous technical spaces allow maintenance to proceed without fuss, and the reinforced hull ensures that comfort and reliability remain intact, even when voyaging far from familiar ports.

Inside the DOGE 400

Inside, floor to ceiling glazing brings the Mediterranean light into every corner, connecting interior spaces with the surrounding waters. Five guest staterooms accommodate twelve, while four crew cabins are carefully proportioned for comfort and privacy.

Spaces are designed to flow, with lounges, dining areas, and quiet corners positioned to make the most of every horizon and every view. Materials and finishes give a nod to the Italian taste with luxurious warm woods, soft leathers, and subtle textures.

Ocean Angel excels in marrying form with function. The beach club, for example, combines a sauna, hammam, and gym within a single, adaptable volume. Above, a discreet 1.2-tonne telescopic crane allows the space to transform, hoisting a 6.25-metre tender into position with absolute precision. Function and leisure co-exist without compromise; nothing here feels imposed or artificial. Folding balconies extend the interior outward, offering immediate contact with the water and reinforcing a sense of openness. They are a subtle flourish, yet one that enhances both usability and visual proportion.

Amenities continue the theme of understated intelligence. A swimming pool graces the aft deck, complemented by a sun deck jacuzzi, creating spaces that allow moments to unfold effortlessly, whether that be a morning swim, a relaxing sauna session or a quiet drink at sunset.
