HONMA & Bugatti Bring Tourbillon Engineering to Golf

HONMA and Bugatti have come together for a cobranded golf collection that brings hypercar engineering to the course. The Japanese equipment maker and the French marque founded by Ettore Bugatti have produced three lines, the BERES Super Premium Collection, the Tour World Premium Collection and the Super Premium Bugatti Putter, each shaped by the Bugatti Tourbillon. Wiebke Ståhl, Managing Director of Bugatti International, sets out how the partnership reflects the exacting standards shared by both houses, with the 5 Star BERES set restricted to just twenty sets worldwide

HONMA and Bugatti have produced a cobranded golf collection that carries hypercar design and engineering thinking onto the course. The Japanese equipment house, long associated with hand-finished clubs, has worked alongside the French hyper sports car maker to translate the look and feel of Bugatti’s road cars into a set of clubs built for precise control.

The partnership brings together two companies that have spent decades refining how their products are made. HONMA’s reputation rests on the work of master artisans, while Bugatti’s name is built on engineering that treats speed as a form of craft. Their collaboration arrives as three distinct lines, each drawing on a different part of the Bugatti story.

Together they form the BERES Super Premium Collection, the Tour World Premium Collection and the Super Premium Bugatti Putter. Each line takes its cues from the Bugatti Tourbillon, the marque’s latest hypercar, and applies that thinking to clubheads, finishes and feel.

Two Houses of the Highest Standards

HONMA was founded in Yokohama, Japan in 1958 and built its name on a level of precision and finish that mass production cannot reach. Every club passes through the hands of skilled makers, a process the company treats as central to its identity.

“Crafted with an extraordinary level of refined precision and uncompromising technical perfection, these three HONMA x Bugatti collections perfectly echo the Bugatti design DNA and reflect the uncompromising standards shared by both brands.”

Bugatti, founded in France in 1909, works to a principle set down by Ettore Bugatti, that if comparable, it is no longer Bugatti. The marque has spent more than a century treating engineering as an art form, where speed and beauty sit together in every machine. That shared refusal to settle for anything less than the best is what brought the two names to the same table.

BERES wears the Tourbillon

The BERES Super Premium Collection sits at the top of the range as a collectible piece. It comes in 3 Star, 4 Star and 5 Star versions, with the 5 Star set held to just 20 examples worldwide. The design draws directly on the Bugatti Tourbillon, applying the same aerodynamic principles found in the hypercar to the shape of the clubhead.

Several Bugatti signatures appear in the detailing. The recognisable horseshoe grille, the C-line and the newly developed Tourbillon instrument cluster are all worked into the clubhead architecture. The 3 Star and 4 Star clubs wear an ice-blue finish, created with the same two-tone paint technique used on the Tourbillon’s bodywork, so the link between car and club is visible at a glance.

Fine Tuned for the course

The Tour World Premium Collection takes a different approach, built for players who want results over presentation. It combines the performance of HONMA’s professional TW777 line with Bugatti’s design language, producing clubs aimed at consistent, competitive play.

The driver uses a titanium-carbon composite and a deep, low centre of gravity to generate high ball speed with controlled accuracy. The irons pair precision milling with soft forging, which gives a forgiving, solid feel through impact. High-precision CNC milling adds a clean touch and a crisp sound when the club strikes the ball, a detail that matters to players who judge a club by sound as much as by numbers.

The hypercar on the green

The Super Premium Bugatti Putter completes the range and comes in 4 Star and 5 Star models. Its head takes its shape from the rear profile of the Bugatti Tourbillon, while the sole borrows from the marque’s tachometer, condensing the look of a hypercar into a compact form.

At address, the contour of the head echoes the flowing hood lines of a Bugatti, with the curves running through the sightline to aid alignment. A precision-milled head and an exclusive grip work together to deliver clear feedback through the hands on every stroke.

The BERES Super Premium Collection and the Super Premium Bugatti Putter were launched globally this month, with the Tour World Premium Collection following, completing the range within weeks of the first two lines.
