Bentley has unveiled the Virtuoso Collection, a limited-edition series designed for those who demand their drive to be as immersive as a live concert. At its heart is the brand-new Naim for Mulliner audio system, Bentley’s most advanced sound experience yet, now available across the Continental GT, Continental GTC, and Bentayga, with the Flying Spur joining the lineup later in 2026. Buyers can select from three curated interior moods: Soprano, Tenor, and Bass, each crafted to match the richness of the music that fills the cabin.

The Naim for Mulliner system debuted in the coachbuilt Batur, requiring over 10,000 hours of development, a testament to the 15-year partnership between Bentley and British hi-fi specialists Naim. For the Virtuoso Collection, this acoustic masterpiece has been adapted for series production, delivering eighteen speakers, Dolby Atmos integration, and Fraunhofer Symphoria sound-stage tuning to ensure every note is crystal clear, no matter where you sit.

But Bentley hasn’t stopped at sound. The Virtuoso Collection arrives with Champagne Gold accents, intricate musically-inspired embroidery, and Dinamica fabric paired with Mulliner overmats designed for both luxury and acoustic performance. The design signature appears on the passenger fascia and treadplates, while each car greets its driver with a bespoke welcome animation on start-up.

Naim for Mulliner: Sound That Moves You

The Naim for Mulliner system is no ordinary audio setup, it’s an orchestral experience on wheels. With eighteen precision-engineered speakers, including two upgraded driver units first developed for the coachbuilt Batur, it delivers sound with astonishing fidelity.

Bentley’s collaboration with Dolby Laboratories brings Dolby Atmos to the cabin, allowing music to flow in three-dimensional space. Every note, layer, and nuance is crystal clear, immersing the driver and passengers inside the performance, not just in front of it. Bentley’s engineers have also integrated Fraunhofer Symphoria, a high-end rendering platform for two and three-dimensional surround sound, carefully tuned for each model to create a perfectly balanced, expansive soundstage.

Acoustic precision doesn’t stop with technology. Soft Dinamica inserts in the doors absorb unwanted vibrations, while bespoke speaker grilles have been redesigned for 26% more acoustic transparency, ensuring every sound reaches your ears with pure clarity.

Speakers built by hand

Bentley’s Naim for Mulliner system owes its extraordinary clarity to speaker drivers inspired by Focal’s Grand Utopia range, technology more at home in elite listening rooms than in an automobile. Both mid-range drivers and tweeters feature Focal’s patented ‘M’ cones, crafted from a single piece without a core cover, perfectly balancing rigidity, lightness, and damping to deliver linear frequency response, low distortion, and expansive sound dispersion.

Hand-wound and 15 millimeters taller than their predecessors, the drivers achieve 20% more cone movement, giving the system a broader dynamic range. The tweeter, built from an aluminium-magnesium cone, produces smooth, wide-angle treble, ensuring tonal clarity no matter where you sit.

Getting the midrange right, the soul of any sound system, is a feat in itself. It must blend seamlessly with the bass while staying perfectly in step with the tweeter. Using finite element analysis and advanced simulation, Focal meticulously refined the suspension material, weight, and shape of each component, achieving ultimate perfection.

Gold details, musical touches

Champagne Gold detailing runs like a golden thread throughout each car, accenting the exterior winged badges, exhaust tips, car key, treadplates, and speaker grilles. When the car starts, a bespoke Virtuoso welcome animation plays, and the Virtuoso design is etched into the passenger fascia, echoing the finish of the treadplates and creating a sense of harmony from every angle.

Inside, soft Dinamica fabric covers the door pads and rear quarters, providing rich texture while absorbing unwanted vibrations for perfect acoustics. Thick Mulliner overmats add weight and presence underfoot, completing the tactile experience. Throughout the cabin, intricate embroidery takes inspiration from the patterns of sound waves. Every textile has been chosen as carefully for its acoustic performance as for its beauty, ensuring the interior feels as alive as the music that fills it.

Three themes to choose from

The three design themes take their inspiration from classical vocal performance, each creating a distinct atmosphere for the cabin. Soprano pairs Linen and Gravity Grey hides with Portland Dinamica fabric and Open Pore Crown Cut Walnut veneer, resulting in a light and composed interior. Tenor combines Stratos and Brunel hides with Ceramic Glaze Dinamica fabric and Piano Gravity Grey veneer for a modern, contemporary feel. Bass embraces a darker mood, merging Gravity Grey and Beluga hides with Beluga Dinamica fabric and Open Pore Black Crown Cut Walnut veneer to create a rich, immersive environment.

For those seeking something truly unique, Bentley’s Mulliner co-creation service allows clients to personalise every detail, from interior materials to finishes, creating a car built entirely to their vision. The Virtuoso Collection is available now across the Continental GT, Continental GTC, and Bentayga, with the Flying Spur joining the range later in 2026.
