Omega has announced a collaboration with the auction house Sotheby’s, to present a unique opportunity for timepiece aficionados and philanthropists alike. From February 12 through February 24, Omega will auction 11 exclusive MoonSwatch Moonshine Gold suitcases, each encompassing the complete set of 11 Omega x Swatch “Mission to Moonshine Gold” watches. This marks the inaugural occasion these coveted models are available as a collection, accompanied by a special suitcase never before offered for purchase, providing a singular opportunity to acquire a distinctive ensemble of timepieces.

The entirety of the auction proceeds will be benevolently donated to Orbis International, a long-standing partner of Omega, dedicated to combating preventable blindness and vision impairment worldwide. This gesture underscores Omega’s enduring commitment to social responsibility and its support for Orbis’s vital mission.

Prior to the auction’s culmination on February 24, the “Mission to Moonshine Gold” suitcases will be exhibited at 11 Omega Boutiques globally, from February 1 to 11, in cities including Zurich, Tokyo, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing, New York, London, Milan, Paris, and Sydney. This international showcase invites enthusiasts to witness firsthand the collection up for auction.

The collection’s attention to detail is evident in the unique designs adorning each seconds hand, ranging from a strawberry motif for the Strawberry Moon to a lollipop design reminiscent of the Speedmaster CK2998 model from 1961.

The auctioned suitcases themselves are artefacts of distinction, containing a golden monocle adorned with the Omega x Swatch logo and an exclusive coin, engraved with the aviation code of the city each suitcase represents. Moreover, this code is inscribed on the side of every watch within the respective suitcase, adding a personalised touch to the collection.
