Boating industry leaders Sunreef has unveiled its latest vessel this week with the new Sunreef 80 GAYA yacht. The Executive Magazine check it out.
An upgrade from the classic Sunreef 70, the new luxury catamaran combines bold exterior styling with subdued and refined interior design. Her navy blue hulls and silver superstructures make the GAYA a head-turner when docking in the local ports.
The owner of the new GAYA had a significant influence on the yacht’s interior design and layout: the vessel’s main saloon uses real oak for the flooring, ebony veneer and designer furniture pieces that achieve a timeless and contemporary feel.
Down in the hulls, GAYA sleeps up to eight guests comfortable due to its four-cabin layout, including a stunning and plentiful master suite with a dressing room and an elegant master room adorned in dark quartz.
The central social area hosts oversized lounging sofas with modular backrests, wine coolers, a transforming dining table for eight, a coffee bar, and a 55’’ retractable TV.
Flooded with natural light from the panoramic glazing, the saloon opens onto the exterior bow lounge and vast dining area on the aft cockpit. After launching the tender, the hydraulic aft platform extends the cockpit’s surface, offering extra lounging space.
Portside of the main deck is the yacht’s galley. The workspace features storage areas, large countertops, and is stocked with premium equipment.
A hub of daytime lounging and sunning, GAYA’s superyacht flybridge offers immense living space with large sunbeds, fitness equipment, a BBQ bar, a large height-adjustable table and free-standing furniture.
